The end of the month has come around so quickly, and the fact they we are going into June is wild.
If you have taken part in any of my courses, or worked with me, you will know reflection is a huge part of my practice. I really do not think you can strategically move forward if you are not looking at the highs and the lows that have shaped where you are right now.
Having said that I know how busy you all are, so let’s keep this brief, grab a notebook, or your phone and here are five ways you can audit the last month:
1: Being brutally honest, what would you score the month our of ten. Doing this quantitively allows you to take the emotion out and look at the facts with no judgement.
2: When you look at this score how do you feel? Write down three feelings / emotions that come up for you and allow yourself to express them.
3: When you see those words do you feel like they are fair? Some of us, me included can be our own worst critics. We can so easily berate ourselves for things that we would never do to our friends or peers.
4: What is the lesson from this feeling that you have noted down? An example of this could be “I felt like I didn’t do enough in the last month, however, I was going through x,y, and z, and so my lesson is that I need to work on self compassion”
5: From the lesson what action will you put into place for the next month? Again, really using a strategy that allows you to take time in the next month to reset and to refocus.
