If you’re reading this right now it means that you are serious about wanting to get super specific on your goals and dreams + I am all about that. So thank you. To keep this clear and focussed I have put together my four steps that I use and review every single quarter to keep myself on track:
+ Step 1: Outcome focussed
You have no idea how much this is overlooked when I first start working with clients. They say how much change they want, or growth in their business but they don’t actually have a specific outcome in mind. Without that how are you supposed to know where you are going?
journal prompt: what is the outcome I want by the end of June?
+ Step 2: Lifestyle non-negotiables
This step is controversial with many big names in the marketing world, but, with my self belief I stand by it. It is not sustainable to work 24/7 even if you want to do anything to achieve your goals. you have to work out what your non-negotiables are first so that you stay in check and alignment. For me, I like slow mornings, that doesn’t mean I sleep in late but I don’t arrange any calls before 10am, I like to have a coffee in bed, meditate, message friends, those things are important to me to set up my day right.

Step 3: Time + Space to create
How much time do you actually have in your day to work towards this outcome. Be super realistic here. If it’s 20 minutes a day, Great! Use that time so wisely and plan in those 20 minutes everyday so that you get the most of them. If you are fully immersed in this new way of life full time then use your time wisely to ensure that you are making the most of this opportunity. Using The Ivy Lee Method is what keeps me so on top of my work and mindset.

Step 4: Letting go
This is by far the hardest step to go through, but I feel it is necessary to enable you to grow and move towards your outcome. Whether it is a mindset block that you work on with a coach, a peer who puts you down, maybe even friends who don’t support you, you need to start to let go. This doesn’t have to be a big dramatic farewell, but a gentle release of that energy to put you back onto the right path. I had a huge mindset block when a few years ago that I wasn’t good enough to work for myself – huge huge problem for me and my business. The root of this problem came from a couple of people that I was around, and being made to feel that everything I did was not good enough. I had to let go of these “peers” and begin to work with a coach to get past it – hands down, it was the best decision I ever made.
journal prompt: what do I need to let go of?
I hope you really use this to get laser focussed on what you can do to get where you want to be… if you need that further clarity why not apply to work with me on a 1 2 1 basis here? we can create some serous magic together.
Love,
Kirstyx
