I have seen so many women talk about the most fascinating ideas, things that I know would make a huge difference to other women, and yet the creation stage seems to always slip them by. The self doubt trickles into the mind and they stop believing in their magic, or even worse than that, they start to think about what others will think. I am here to take all of this doubt away from you and give you my EXACT steps that I took to help you launch your course:
+ Get Specific. Really niché down on what you are offering and why. Why do people need to see this, what is the exact reason for launching it.
+ Map out what the course could look like: is it one video a day? is it evergreen or is it launching at a certain time? Once you have the exact amount of content planned you can then allocate an exact amount of time to create each element.
+ Create the content. My advice may be different to others. While I am a huge fan of batch working I also like everything I put out to be fresh, high quality and not the tail end of a list of 7 videos I needed to create. I believe in picking one module a day and completing every element of it. Get really deep into it, think about the questions that might come up from people taking part in advance so that you can answer everything.
+ Create the branding. This is the fun part for me as I love all things branding and marketing. Use fonts that you have on your website along with your hex colour codes. Make it look as though someone would know this is your course instantly. Think about the phrasing that you have on your site and how you can link this into the name of your course. For example my course is called Breathe into your Power, as I am all about helping women find their Inner Power.
+ Get smart with your content. If you are hosting zoom calls, ensure they are recorded so that you do not need to record anything again, you are already hosting the sessions while simultaneously creating your course content.
+ On that note, please back up everything on a hard drive (just a little reminder there)
+ Once everything is created it is time to find the right platform. I use Podia and I love it. It lets you upload everything into one place and is professional to anyone buying the course.
+ Be bold with your launch and believe in yourself. I still swear by email marketing as the strongest way to launch anything, they are your warm audience, your raving fans and they deserve to know about anything before anyone else. Think of them as your VIPs. Get them excited about the course, talk from the heart and be authentic – I know whatever you have waiting in the wings to create is going to be incredible.
+ Share, and re-share it. Did you know that on average 6% of your audience see your social media posts? Keep spreading your message in different ways. Maybe its a post, then it’s a blog post and a story to re-share? perhaps an IGTV or a live, get creative with how you can spread the same message.
+ Create a community. Whenever anyone likes anything, sends you a DM or comments on a post please please engage with them. Nobody is too good to speak to their following no matter how small or large. Create this safe space for people to express themselves and be passionate about your message. You are in this line of work because you want to help people, so do just that! show them you are there by their side and you may create friends for life.
