2020, well, its a time isn’t it. Who would have ever thought how this year would pan out? So much time spent at home, no travel, missing out on so many occasions and a global enforcement to finally slow down. I remember sitting down for that impending lockdown announcement (originally for 21 days, little did we know) and thinking how will I get through this? I hate staying home all day and not being outside, I hate not being able to go for coffee or socialise with friends and family, there was an instant feeling of claustrophobia that I’m sure you can relate to. Even when I write that, coffee, what does coffee even matter! Its funny how much we change and how much resilience we have as humans without even realising it.
We all sat back and thought about how we could make this time better for eachother, firstly stay home! save others. Secondly people in the wellbeing industry made me so proud, they got on their phones, started offering live sessions, free classes, workshops, built running communities from nothing to support one another – it was beautiful and I would like to take this moment to say thank you.
Personally, I hosted live #minimedi sessions every week day morning to bring people together through the power of Meditation and a sense of being part of something, I am truly grateful for this moment in time that we had.
